Founded in 2001, BFX Imageworks provides Big Look, high-quality special visual effects solutions for Producers who are coping with today's budgets that continue to tighten.

 

From full-blown creature effects to rig removals, from web series to indie films, from book trailers to features, our scalable services mean that no project is too big or too small.

In 2004 we produced an in-house music video that we entered into the Festival circuit. It garnered us a whopping 4 awards and a feature article in Computer Graphics World! The award statuettes included the prestigious "Telly Award", the "Aurora Award", the "Videographer Award" and the "Digital Video Festival - Best Visual Effects Award".

 

In 2012, the Visual Effects Society (VES), of which we are board members, asked us to produce all the animated graphic packages for the annual VES Awards Show held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Hollywood and broadcast on the REELZ channel. We were also tasked with collating and editing a Nominee Highlight Reel. To have the legendary Douglas Trumbull, who was in attendance, compliment us on our work was most definitely a bucket list item!

In 2013 The Directors Guild (DGA) asked us to present our VFX work alongside such amazing luminaries as the folks responsible for the work in "Iron Man 3", "World War Z" and "Machine Gun Preacher" in the Digital Day event called "VFX ACROSS THE BOARD: FROM INDIES TO BLOCKBUSTERS". It was a great honor to be asked to present with such colleagues. At the end of the day, even the Iron Man 3 people were seeking us out to congratulate us on our work and our presentation!
